In Collective worship on Monday we heard about St George and how he was a Roman soldier who was a Christian at a time when followers of Jesus were persecuted. Children helped Mrs Sharp tell the story using: 

St George's cross to show he was Christian

A sword to show courage

A shield to show he was brave and protected others

A dragon to show that he faced his fears.
